Congratulations Donald Trump! You're a star again. What are you going to do next?
In America, the next step after Hollywood stardom is apparently a lobotomy. Like so many other idiots in the entertainment business, "the Donald" is speaking out on Iraq. Says the Donald:
"Iraq is a total mess, and the Army and forces are totally overextended. If you pull out now, millions of Iraqis will be killed. It is just a mess that obviously should've never been started."
So hold up here. If we leave now, millions of Iraqis will be killed. And that's a bad thing. But, we never should have gone there in the first place, despite the fact that millions of Iraqs were being killed.
For a supposed business genius, Trump certainly doesn't know how to deal with adversity. Should we have not invaded France in 1944 because if we failed millions would die? There's a risk to every operation, but you take the risk and accept the risk because the goal is important. Why is it so hard for people to understand this?
I think Trump, like many Dummocrats, can't get past Vietnam. Because Baby Boomers see themselves as the center of the universe, the most important event of their lives, Vietnam, still has to be the center of our political universe. 9/11 couldn't have changed anything because it would diminish the importance of Vietnam (which is the most important thing that has ever happened).
Actually, millions of Iraqis were not being killed before the war, and millions wouldn't be killed if the U.S. left. So you and Mr Trump are both a little hysterical. But September 11th was nothing compared to what our friend George is setting America up for, I for one am happy and ready to die in restitution for the crimes of the U.S. government; hopefully, they'll attack Madison before my town. At least Osama never burned the biology building.
Oh, and you have a fantastic web site / blog, and I look forward to seeing more of your publishing techniques and reading your observations; I will remain quiet hereafter.
Happy Spring.
